This government is determined to eradicate drugs and terrorism. In the last 24 hours, 85 people have been arrested in the anti-drug operation in the capital. The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) said in a statement. They were detained during raids in different police stations of the capital from 6 am on Monday 31 January to 6 am on Tuesday 1 February.
Hafiz Al Asad, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of DMP's Media and Public Relations Department, said 16,359 pieces of yaba, 153 grams of heroin, 6 kg 200 grams of cannabis, 15 liters of domestic liquor and 93 bottles of phensedyl were seized from them. .
In the name of the detainees, 53 cases have been filed in different police stations of DMP under the Narcotics Control Act.
