We are working with the goal and ideal with which Bangabandhu has struggled all his life. Bangabandhu's goal was to change the fate of the miserable people of Bengal. We are working towards that goal. "

Bangabandhu's daughter said, ‘Bangabandhu achieved his goal through struggle. The historic March 7th speech, including the language movement in phases since 1947, was one of the chapters of that struggle. During our liberation war, he made all the arrangements for struggle including shelter for the refugees. He (Bangabandhu) was taken prisoner in Pakistan. Sedition case was filed. Execution was ordered. The grave was dug next to his cell in the prison. Bengalis never sit idle. They snatched independence on December 16 keeping spirit of March 7th speech in heart.

He said, "On the night of March 25th, the Pakistani aggressors attacked the unarmed people of the country. On March 26th, the Pakistan Army picked us up from Dhanmondi House No. 32 and kept us captive in Dhanmondi 9 / A house. Although the country became independent on December 16th, we were not released. We were released from that one-storey house on December 17th. '

He added, "There was a long 9-month war. At the time, we did not know if Dad was alive. On January 8, I got my father's first phone call. I can't express that feeling of that day in your language. On the 10th he returned. But not to us. He went straight to the people, to whom he had dedicated his whole life. '
