Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar has contracted coronavirus (Covid-19). She is being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a Mumbai hospital on Tuesday (January 11th).
According to the family, her condition is stable. She has been kept in ICU for precaution as she got infected with corona at her advanced age. She urged people to respect their privacy and seek prayers for her sister. '
Even before this, several stars of Hindi industry have been affected with Corona.
Legendary singer of the subcontinent Lata Mangeshkar was born on September 26, 1929. She sung more than a thousand Indian films. Apart from this, she has the only record of singing in 36 regional languages of India and in foreign languages. In 1989, the Government of India awarded her the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
