Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Sunday announced the squad for the ACC Asia Cup 2023 scheduled to be held in the UAE.
Eight teams are set to participate in the tournament, divided into two distinct groups.
In Group A, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Nepal will vie for supremacy, while Group B will witness Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Japan, and the UAE competing in the group phase.
The tournament is set to commence on December 8 with a clash between Afghanistan and India. Bangladesh will enter the fray with their first match against the UAE on December 9th.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals. And the winners of the semifinal will take on each other in the final on December 17th in Dubai.
