AL to announce its election manifesto on Dec 27

Awami League president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will announce the party’s election manifesto on December 27.

Party’s General Secretary Obaidul Quader and also the road transport and bridges minister, informed this at a press conference held at AL president‍‍`s political office at Dhanmondi in the capital on Monday.

Quader also urged the party candidate to follow the electoral code of conduct and maintain a peaceful environment during the electioneering in the 12th national polls slated for January 7.

The AL leader also informed the media that Awami League will hold its first public rally as part of its election campaign in Sylhet on December 20.

Replying to question about a statement by 40 eminent personalities, Quader said the AL leader called them agents of the BNP.
