Fakhrul, Khasru to be produced before court on Monday

In a case filed over attack on the city‍‍`s Paltan Police Station and police, a prayer was submitted to a Dhaka court on Sunday to show BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury arrested.

Paltan Model Police Station sub-inspector Sumit Kumar Saha who is also the investigation officer of the case filed the prayer to the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate court on Saturday.

At the same time, he submitted a plea to place both Fakhrul and Khasru on a ten-day remand.

However, the court said a hearing will take place on Monday in presence of Mirza Fakhrul and Amir Khasru. The court also directed the prison authorities to produce both the leaders before the hearing starts.
