The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Thursday expelled two more its leaders for violating party discipline.
The expelled activists are-- Sherpur district BNP Assistant Office Secretary Zaydur Rashid Shyamal and member Advocate Md Abdullah.
A press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that they were expelled from all party posts, and their primary membership has also been revoked based on clear allegations of involvement in activities against party discipline.
Earlier in the day, BNP expelled its vice chairman Barrister Shahjahan Omar for violating party discipline, after he submitted a nomination paper as an Awami League candidate for the Jhalakathi-1 constituency.
