Mashrafe fined for violating electoral code

Awami League nominated candidate for Narail-2 constituency and former Bangladesh cricket captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has been fined Tk 15,000 for violating the electoral code of conduct.

According to the electoral code of conduct, posters should be hung by rope but Masrafe’s posters were pasted onto the walls and electric polls.

For breaching the election code of conducts Executive Magistrate Md Anisur Rahman fined him near the Hamid Mansion area of the city on Monday.
