A group of miscreants beat comedian Abu Hena Rony over parking of a car at Gurudaspur upazila of Natore district on Friday evening. Three others people were also injured in the attack at that time.
Gurudaspur Police Station officer-in-charge Md Monowaruzzaman said Rony along with his three friends went to watch a movie at Chanchkoir Mor in the upazila by a car. They parked the car beside a road near the cinema hall.
One trader Chablu Molla came to the spot by a private car at that time and started to hurl abusive words at Rony and his friends over the parking of their car.
The trader got down from his car and called others by mobile phone set to come to the spot when Rony and his friends asked him not to hurl abusive words.
Later, several people came by eight to 10 motorcycles and beat Rony and his friends. They also vandalized the private car of Rony during the attack.
Being informed, police rushed to the spot and rescued Rony and his friends.
A case has been filed with the police station in this regard.
The mobile phone of the trader was found switched off when our correspondent tried to contact with him.
