Lowest temperature 10.3° recorded at Tentulia

The lowest temperature in the country was recorded at 10.3 degrees Celsius in Panchagarh‍‍`s Tentulia upazila on Thursday which is the lowest so far this season.

This temperature was recorded at 9 am by the District Meteorological Department.

The information was given by Rasel Shah, officer-in-charge of Meteorological Department-Class I, Tentulia.

Visiting several places in the upazila on Thursday morning, this correspondent found that entire Tentulia was covered by dense fog. Motor vehicles were moving on city- and village-bound roads switching their lights on. None wanted to come out of their respective houses without necessity. Only the people belonging to low-income group came out their homes for livelihood.
