As per instructions from the Election Commission (EC), officers-in-charge of four police stations under Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) and 7 police stations in the district have been reshuffled ahead of the 12th parliamentary election.
The OCs of two of these police stations were transferred out of the district. Meanwhile, the OCs of the remaining nine police stations were transferred to other police stations within the district and the city.
Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) Commissioner Md Mozammel Haque said Sadar police station OC has been transferred to Aronghata police station, Aronghata police station OC to Sonadanga police station, Sonadanga police station OC to Khan Jahan Ali police station and Khan Jahan Ali police station OC to Khulna Sadar police station.
They will join their new workplaces in a day or two.
