Three killed as bus hits human-hauler in Jhalokati

Three people were killed after a bus hit a human-hauler at Nalchity upazila in Jhalokati district on Thursday.

The accident took place around 5:00 pm in Dapdapia Ziro Point area.

One of the deceased was identified as Belal.

Eyewitnesses said a bus of Bepari Paribahan hit a human-hauler from the opposite direction, leaving its two passengers dead on the spot and several injured.

An injured woman succumbed to her injuries on the way to a hospital.

The bodies would be handed over to the deceased‍‍`s family after autopsy, said Nalchity Police Station officer-in-charge Murad Ali.

Legal steps in this regard are under process, he added.
