Miscreants set fire to a bus at Kaliakairb upazila in Gazipur on Sunday night during the first day of ongoing 48-hour countrywide blockade of road, rail and waterways enforced by BNP and like-minded opposition parties.
The incident took place in Chandra area under the upazila at around 8:04pm.
Being informed, two firefighting units rushed to the spot to doused the blaze, said Rafi Al Faruque, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters control room.
However, no casualty was reported, he added.
