Truck set on fire in Nandigram

Miscreants set fire to a truck in Bogura‍‍`s Nandigram upazila on Sunday evening.

According to locals, a truck was going to Natore from Nandigram around 7:30 pm. After reaching at Yusufpur area on the Bogura-Natore highway, some youths threw bricks from a motorcycle and set fire to the truck.

Later, police and fire service personnel came and extinguished the fire. After that, around 8:30 pm, a cocktail explosion took place in front of Muktijoddha complex on the north side of the bus stand.

Nandigram Police Station officer-in-charge Azamgir Hossain confirmed it.
