Man crushed under train in Panchagarh

A physically challenged man was killed after being crushed under the wheels of train at Atwari upazila in Panchagarh district on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Polash Chandra Barman, 35, son of Hardev Chandra Barman, a resident of Thakurbari area under Radhanagar union of the upazila.

According to the deceased‍‍`s family members, a Panchagarh-bound Panchagarh Express train ran over the man when he was walking along the railway track, leaving him dead on the spot.

Local union parishad (UP) chairman Abu Jahed confirmed the death matter.
